Park. But the path to the internal was the external. The focus of the day was the body--how women feel about their bodies, what the Bible says about how they should care for their bodies and how the body intersects with the soul.

It is often a neglected subject, said Suzanne Baker, the event's coordinator or, as she jokingly called herself, "your spa director for the day."   "We don't talk about the physical body in church much," she told the women in a softly lit room. "It was pretty much ignored. Or else the word was: `Don't.' "A team of volunteers from Park Community Church put together a program that used music, drama and the sharing of personal experiences to explore the role women's bodies play in their lives and in their relationship to God.  A skit captured many of the women's feelings about their bodies; a performer portraying a Bridget Jones-
